| Wessel Hamman co-founded Clearance Capital LLP in 2008 and currently acts as Chief Executive Officer. Wessel joined Rand Merchant Bank, a division of First Rand Bank Limited, in January 1998 as Chief Financial Officer of the Equities Division and in 2000 became head of the Equities Corporate Arbitrage business unit, which he headed until December 2007. Wessel qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) in 1997 after completing articles with KPMG. Wessel holds a B. Com. (Honors) (Accounting) degree from Rand Afrikaans University. |
